alphabeat - the spell

ladies and gentlemen, i am obsessed with 'The Spell' by Alphabeat at the moment. first off, this album was released last year [in Denmark]. second, i prefer the title 'The Spell' rather than the horrible choice to rename it "The Beat Is...". i'm just not a fan of bands using their name in any form on their albums [unless you're the spice girls]. third, this is such a fun tribute to the 90s and it doesn't ever go wrong! it's fun, it's modern and the pairing of lead vocalists Stine Bramsen and Anders SG is genius [that's not to say that the rest of the boy's aren't equally effective]. it is my pleasure to say it is one of the few albums i've had on spin all year long.
