jenny and johnny - big wave

jenny lewis + johnathan rice have teamed up and made a new band called 'jenny and johnny' = at first i wasn't exactly thrilled because i will forever miss rilo kiley, who i have no expections of getting back together any time soon for a new album. new track 'big wave' has given me hope though because it is actually pretty good. i got it for free over at stereogum. definitely recommend. if you're curious as to what their chemistry/sound is like here's an interview with spin + their track 'scissor runner' [which is also a free track on their website]:
